We are happy to announce that the registration for Cutting Edge opened with a flurry of activity. Out of our 50 available slots we have 36 already taken. Going forward we are limiting our remaining slots to go to learn to skate players. These players are kids who have 1 to 2 years' experience and should be under the age of 6.

Cutting Edge Hockey Camp is a 6-week, 1 hour a week program for learn to skate, skills development program, hosted by Milton Youth Hockey Association (MYHA) that runs from July 17th through August 21st.  Cutting Edge focuses on the fundamentals needed for developing hockey players.  All skill levels are welcome!  Children must be 3 years old to participate and must have a valid USA Hockey Number and full hockey equipment to participate.  This year, 2024, we are offering two distinct levels to players.  All sessions will be held at C Douglas Cairns Arena- 600 Swift St, South Burlington, VT.

Learn to skate:  

This level is designed for kids who are ages 3-12 who are interested in learning to skate, with a focus on hockey. Children who enroll at this level should have little to no experience on ice. This will focus on the fundamentals of skating while beginning to lay the groundwork for building their skills in hockey. 

Learn the Game: 

This level is also designed for kids who are ages 4-12. Participants in this level will have a minimum of one year of skating or demonstrate skill to that level. This level will focus on the fundamentals of hockey. Focus on intermediate foot work, puck handling, teamwork and drills will help players take their game to the next level.  

We suggest you plan to arrive with your players at least 30-45 minutes in advance to get dressed before ice time.
